Hema Malini is a politician and actor from India. She has worked as a filmmaker, producer, dancer, director, and politician, among her many accomplishments. She began her acting career in the Tamil film with the movie “Ithu Saathiyam” in 1963. She worked as a co-actress and dancer in the early stages of her career. She made her film debut as a co-star in the 1963 film Idhu Saathiyam and then appeared in the film Vanavasam (1965). Following that, Malini starred alongside Raj Kapoor in Sapno Ke Saudagar in 1968. And it was for this film she was dubbed “Dream Girl” in Bollywood.


She starred in blockbuster films such as Johnny Mera Naam in 1970. She also took on several hard parts during this period, including a widow in Andaz (1971) and an impoverished lady in Lal Patthar (1971). Malini appeared in Sita aur Geeta opposite Dharmendra and Sanjeev Kapoor in 1972.
